About this deal

I like the style of writing too, there are sometimes some typos left in these books, but it happens! I would recommend these books as a good read on a winter evening, in front of the fire with a hot drink. These are just some of the uncanny yet fascinating stories contained in this volume of Haunted Liverpool – so read it at your own peril. Absouloutly love the haunted Liverpool series and must say I have every book and audio book I think Toms ever written. Haunted Liverpool 18 is one of the best Tom Slemen books I have ever read, packed with some of the scariest but also thought-provoking stories Tom has ever penned.

The stories are so good they don't need to be bulked up, and this book reminds me of haunted Liverpool books 1-10, more to the point and great accounts. As I felt some of the newer books the stories became very long winded, for example they included what people thought when entering a room etc. Spooky tales are not just a contemporary phenomenon – there are several ghosts mentioned in the Old Testament.Every culture has believed in ghosts at one time or another: Buddha trained himself to overcome fear by sitting in a haunted cemetry.

The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. Welcome to Haunted Liverpool 18 – an amazing book that leaves other works on the supernatural light years behind. Zozzaby makes a chilling reappearance in this book, which is in paperback and Kindle format (I bought the Kindle version). You could dismiss this as a nightmare, but the next pair of children to live in the house see the same film - oh, and so does the woman who lives next door but one. Following his now well-established tradition, in Haunted Liverpool 8, local paranormal investigator and broadcaster, Tom Slemen, has yet again produced a wealth of supernatural stories with a Liverpool connection. Unravel the mystery of the Faceless Man of Renshaw Street, and ponder upon the peculiar case of the day when the Devil walked through a snowbound Liverpool. You will also read about: * The spinechilling case of the Haunted Cars of Wavertree that played a deadly game of cat and mouse with the police. Hear also about the many intriguing time-slips in the city, including the disturbing case of a modern female club-goer who was abducted by two rapists from the 18th century.
