About this deal

By any measure, the 770 Pro 80s are very comfortable, good sounding headphones that represent very decent value for money. The single-sided cable allows the headphones to be put on and taken off frequently without cables getting tangled. After putting on these headphones I simply sat there and listened to music, that is how amazing they are. png Keine Promo Online Reference headphones for control and monitoring purpose Impressive sound experience Black design variation No No Reference headphones for control and monitoring purpose (closed) 717770 Enabled Hellmann Catalog Around-ear Firm fit for professional use, approx.

If you play music at a high volume, these frequencies are the most likely to leak into your environment. Going to college, on tour, or even just hanging out in a studio is murder on plastic over the long haul. The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO and the Astro A40 TR Headset + MixAmp Pro 2017 are designed for different purposes but are both fairly versatile. Thanks to the wide frequency response and exceptional audio fidelity, they allow you to record with confidence – you’re guaranteed to hear your mixes, masters, and edits in accurate detail. The DT 770 Pro comes with soft velour earpads, as well an adjustable padded headband for maximum comfort making them ideal for long sessions. This distortion dips below 1% only at around 105 Hz (when measured at high output levels), and throughout all of this, a nasty 3rd harmonic is very present from 60 Hz to 100 Hz so, when doing anything low-end critical, be careful as this is also present without calibration applied! For more information about beyerdynamic headphones, continue reading our reviews – DT 240 Pro, DT 770 Pro, DT 900 Pro X, DT 880 Pro, and DT 990 Pro. THESE PRODUCTS ARE TESTED ON SITE TO MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND ARE GUARANTEED TO FUNCTION PERFECTLY.

The ear cups don't fold or lay flat, and although they have a relatively compact build for an open over-ear model, they're still too bulky and cumbersome to carry on you without a bag.The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO are decent headphones for wired gaming due to their detailed sound profile and their great bass and mid-range response. Given that this headset is so old, it’s a little behind the times where it comes to features that content creators and casual listeners have come to expect from their headphones.

A lightweight, low-profile, closed headphone producing a clean and even response from 20 - 18000 Hz. I’d already had some experience with the DT 770 Pros, so I didn’t feel the need to go into some of my usual “baseline” tunes, such as Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” to see if they were listenable. One of the key strengths of the DT770 Pro's bass response is that it has fantastic sub bass extension, reaching all the way to 20hz easily, with little-to-no roll-off; you get a lot of depth and rumble in that sub-100hz region of the frequency response. The reason why I'm covering this headphone now in 2022 is because it's a headphone that I've been using extensively for other content I've been working on recently, and while listening to it I realized that I've never reviewed it despite it being one of the headphones I've listened to most extensively. Closed-back (The earcup housings are completely closed so incoming and outgoing noise is attenuated. Sure, those too are long in the tooth and yes: they’ve got a lot of the same drawbacks as the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80Ω, but they’re time-tested and industry standard for the same reasons the Beyerdynamic cans have stuck around so long.

Even though this model doesn’t have weird dips or peaks in one of the channels, the stereo image is still a bit skewed – differences are throughout the whole frequency spectrum. In terms of sheer value for money the 770s make the Amirons look like more of an indulgence that an unequivocal game-changing improvement! And, I don’t feel I have to be so precious in the way I treat these headphones (which is ironic really, given the fact that the Amirons are distinctly more solidly built). The headband adjustment could be smoother – a quick adjustment while keeping them on your head can be quite a challenge.

An extended frequency range (5Hz - 35kHz) lets you to hear every subtle nuance from your source audio, even at loud volumes. This version of the DT 770 Pro Headphones has an impedance of 80 Ohms, making them extremely flexible. It features a single cable connection on the left side, which means it can be put on and taken off frequently without getting caught up in the cable, while the robust and adjustable spring steel headband with its soft padding also makes for excellent durability. These open backed headphones with circumaural ear pads have a lightweight diaphragm for improved performance. It provides a good impulse response and outstandingly detailed sound, but to do this it should ideally be paired with a headphone amplifier and is therefore an ideal candidate for studio use.
